While John Raimondo’s practice has primarily been dedicated to the defense of criminal matters, he has utilized his courtroom experience in the representation of clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters. John Raimondo has significant experience in handling matrimonial and family law matters, commercial litigation, civil rights litigation, etc. John Raimondo tried one of the last jury cases held in Westchester County in relation to grounds for divorce prior to New York becoming a no-fault state. John has also been trial counsel in several high stakes commercial disputes, including the trial of a multi-million dollar corporate embezzlement matter, along with the litigation of a partnership dispute over a multi-million dollar commercial asset. John Raimondo has also periodically taken on the representation of client’s in civil rights related matters, including a 2009 publicized federal jury trial surrounding the use of excessive force case by the Yonkers Police Department.
